Inn on Lake Superior

Little Extras

A few minutes in the lap of luxury, and the line between needs and wants begins to blur.

This is no ordinary hotel—this is the place to be on the shores of Lake Superior. Perhaps that’s why every little detail here (and we think of them all) relates to the big lake in one way or another. And with all that water so close at hand, you can’t help but walk away with a clearer perspective.

The View

Trust us on this one: there’s a moment each day when the sun sets, and the sky and endless inland sea swirl together in pools of pink, lavender and blue. It’s breathtaking. Just like every other moment when you’re looking out at the world’s largest lake.

The Pool Experience

The kids come to swim, you come to soak. And there’s room for both. Our main pool atrium features a spacious swimming area, a steamy sauna and a comforting whirlpool. Up on the roof, the pool and deck are heated to 102.5º so there’s nothing like this water in the winter. However, to ensure guest safety, the Inn on Lake Superior will close the outdoor heated pool when the outside temperature falls below 0 degrees.

S’mores

Melted chocolate, gooey marshmallows, tasty grahams—this is love, over an open fire, right next to the beach. And you can get your hands on it—free of charge—every night at 8:00.

Workout Facilities

If you should tire of walking, jogging, biking or blading on the miles-long boardwalk along the lake, we’ve got plenty of equipment to work you out. Treadmills, free weights, stationary bicycles and more—and afterwards, a trip to the sauna.

Make Contact

You’ve got work to do, and we’ve got complimentary high-speed internet access to help you get it done. It’s just one of the things we do to keep you connected to the world around you while you’re getting away from it all.

Lose Touch

Within walking distance of your door, you’ll find over 30 restaurants ranging from simple sandwiches to extraordinary Italian. Plus shop after shop after quaint little mom-and-pop shop. Plus the Marine Museum, ships from around the globe, and so much to explore, you’ll not only lose track of time, you just might lose yourself completely.

Breakfast of Champions

They call it continental, but that’s only because it’s big enough to feed the whole country. Fresh fruit, toasted breads, make-your-own Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and dozens of other goodies are available every morning from 6:30 am - 10:00 am. So grab the paper, soak in the view, and fill yourself up for the day.

Inn-credible Dream Bed

This bed features triple sheeting, Restful Nights mattress pillow topper, duvet cover and 200 thread count sheets, fleece blanket and mounds of pillows!
